just a bloggin'

I don't do this blogging thing much, and I pretty much suck at keeping it updated so I appologize now. It's kind of like journaling for me. I will do really well for a couple weeks, and then I putter out and get bored with it, until I have another journaling spurt! haha

Right now I'm living in Lincoln and just seeing where God is leading me. The church I attend is in the process of doing a church plant: one80 'when you need to turn your life around...' I'm really excited to see this begin to fall together. I have been asked to co-lead the youth group with my friend Caleb, so that is pretty exciting. I'm just anxious to get that going as well and see where God leads it.

God has done a lot in my heart these past few weeks which has been a drawn out process from about a year ago. It has been really freeing and I am so amazed that I have a God that loves me enough to take me back every time I fail.

Other new news is that my beh fren (best friend) left for Hong Kong on Monday morning. She will be doing a year long missions program over there and I'm super excited for her, but at the same time I miss her to pieces! I'm so fortunate to have an amazing friend like her and also that her family is so great as well! They are like my second family and I know that I'm still welcome there when she is gone. I'm really excited too because her mom, sister, my mom, and I will go over to Hong Kong for a 3 week mission trip in December.

The way God works is amazing, and I will try and keep this up to date so my posts don't get too long :)
